Christmas lights are going on all around the country, which is a sure sign that Christmas is coming. Or is it still a bit early? Here at Ben Shaws we think it’s never too early to start celebrating, and many cities including Manchester, Bristol, London Regent St, Chester and Cardiff would seem to agree as they all switched on their lights last week.

There are still a few to look forward to, including in my home town of Huddersfield, so if you live in or around any of the following cities your big switch on is still to come.

Nottingham 23rd November

I’m looking forward to the Huddersfield switch on, which starts at 4.30pm on Saturday on the Piazza, with dancers and entertainers to get the fun started.
