Happy Advent from the Ben Shaws Team! We’ve opened the first Advent Calendar window and we are well and truly in the festive spirit.

We’ve been having fun coming up with some Christmas recipe ideas for your festive parties, and here are this week’s favourites - our Frosty Fruity Christmas Spritzer, Santa’s Festive Soda and Rudolph’s Tipple.

Frosty Fruity Christmas Spritzer
A refreshing drink you can serve any time.

Ben Shaws Cloudy Lemonade
Raspberry (or blueberry or blackberry) syrup
Soda water
Slice or twist of lemon

For each glass: pour a good dash of raspberry syrup over lots of ice, fill 2/3 with Cloudy Lemonade, then top with soda water and a slice of lemon (or a curly twist if you’re feeling adventurous!)

Santa’s Festive Soda
A festive non-alcoholic treat.

Ben Shaws Cream Soda
Mulled wine syrup or mulling syrup
Slice of orange

Pour your Cream Soda over ice in a long glass and add ½ tablespoon of mulling syrup (or more to taste). Stir, pop in a slice of orange and enjoy.

Rudoph’s Tipple
A fun drink for children.

Ben Shaws Dandelion & Burdock
Lemon juice
Caster sugar
Glacé cherries, slit half way across with a knife

Dip the rim of a glass in lemon juice then sugar to create a frosted edge. Carefully pour Dandelion & Burdock over ice into the glass, and decorate the edge of each glass with three cherries.
